Inset was created for the central spine and two-story atrium in a corporate headquarters. The brick wall has a striking pattern, so the tapestry elements were created to correspond — major cords align with it, while a secondary set of minor cords interrupt the pattern. The piece is meant to be seen as you walk along it with the interruptions providing punctuation.

Inset 1981. 252 x 132”. woven: linen, cotton rope. Created for double-story atrium: corporate commission, Broomfield CO
