Crossover was created in two parts to frame a central auditorium stage. It references an open curtain yet only it’s shape — stepping down to profile the stairs — is symmetrical. Differing elements call out to one another across the space. They respect placement, but change in color and weaving scale in order to invite comparison and visual engagement.

Crossover 1985. each half: 126 x 192” woven: linen, cotton rope. 1% for Art public commission CT. Installed JM Wright Technical School, Stamford CT.
